OUR STORY

For Kris and Journie Otto, quality craftsmanship has always been about more than simply completing a project. It's about creating something that feels right, functions beautifully, and stands the test of time.
In 2007, we founded Otto Heating & Cooling with a commitment to exceptional service, quality workmanship, and doing things the right way. Hundreds of relationships were built over the next 18 years. We are proud to say that we built Otto Heating & Cooling into one of Edmonton and area's premier HVAC brands.
In 2025, we sold Otto Heating & Cooling and began looking toward our next chapter.
That chapter became Otto & Co.
Otto & Co. was founded on a simple philosophy: quality over quantity. We aren't interested in being the biggest. We're interested in creating exceptional spaces and taking on projects for clients where craftsmanship, creativity, and attention to detail matter.
Our focus is on luxury spaces, specialty construction, and custom projects — the kind of projects that deserve more thought, more care, and a personal approach.
Whether we're creating a custom entertainment space, wine cellar, man cave, sauna, deck, or something completely unique, our goal is the same: to elevate the space and create something our clients are genuinely proud of.

Elevating Spaces
Our experience in construction and HVAC taught us something very important: a great space isn't experienced with just your eyes. It's the warmth you feel when you walk into a room, the materials you touch, the lighting, the sound, the temperature — and even the scent in the air. Every one of our senses contributes to how we experience a space.
That knowledge is what led us into HVAC scenting systems. We saw an opportunity to incorporate another often-overlooked element of design — the way a space smells. Because a beautifully designed home shouldn't just look exceptional. It should feel exceptional. And it should smell exceptional.
